Salary: $20-32/hr

Our client located in Hebron, IL is looking for a Maintenance Technician. In this position, you will perform duties to maintain and repair a variety of production related equipment. Work from prints, sketches, machine manuals, parts lists, wiring diagrams and maintenance work orders.

 

Pay: $20-32/hr

Hours: M-F | 7:00am - 3:30pm 

 

Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose plant manufacturing equipment during production. Report back to plant manager
• Schedule and perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical repairs on production equipment as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times and properly documented
• Provide emergency & unscheduled repairs of production equipment
• Perform general purpose steel fabrication and welding.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals in order to perform necessary repairs and/or equipment service.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, material handling equipment, welders in performing duties.

 

 Qualifications:

• • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in plant manufacturing equipment maintenance.
  • Pro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player and positive attitude is a must.
  • Strong hydraulic, mechanical, welding and industrial experience including hydraulic pumps, electric motors, conveyor belts, steel fabrication.
  • Industrial Maintenance Degree or Certifications are preferred
  • Knowledge of press breaks, lasers, turrets, spot welders,  knowledge of Aim wire machines a plus
  • Some PLC experience a plus
