1st Shift Welder/Fabricator (Permanent Position)

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour

A leading manufacturer of metal components in Troy is looking for a skilled MIG/TIG Welder. Serving numerous industries including flexible metal tubes for gas dryers and stoves as well as automotive; Tier II and supply Bentler, Faurecia, Eberspacher, Bozul and global aerospace and construction. Required Skills:

• Prefer at least two years of fabrication experience; willing to consider less experience if the individual has a high level of interest in learning
• Experience MIG, TIG and Stick welding on sheet metal and structural carbon steel
• Able to use common shop tools such as: tape measure, band saw, drill press, grinder and over-head crane
• Comfortable reading shop diagrams and blueprints
• Good mechanical aptitude

 

Shift:
6:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday (works until 4:30pm when required)

 

Pay:
$20-25/hour to start, depending upon experience and qualifications
Performance and compensation review after 90 days of employment and semi-annually thereafter.
