Delivery Driver

Located in Sherman, TX

Salary: 17/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Delivery Driver position for a company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

Key Responsibilities:

Freight Handling:

• Check in and verify incoming freight

• Receive inventory and organize stock

Order Management:

• Pull and prepare product orders accurately and efficiently

Driving & Delivery:

• Safely operate a 1-ton flatbed truck and occasionally a 1/2-ton pickup for deliveries

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues

Forklift Operation:

• Load and unload materials using a forklift (must have experience)

Safety & Reliability:

• Prioritize safety at all times in the warehouse and on the road

• Follow DOT and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain/maintain a Texas DOT Medical Card

• Forklift experience required (certification preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance

• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and perform physical labor
