A local Huntsville company is searching for an Assembler who will have core responsibilities in:

• Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures.
• Taking precision measurements to ensure flawless fit of components.
• Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin the process.

 

This dynamic Assembler role is within a leading automobile company. You will work directly with other warehouse staff for reciprocal production goals. With room to grow, it’s relevant to point out that they do tend to promote from within, and offer some seasonal overtime hours. Primary Responsibilities

• Employees in this position must have skills necessary to perform daily production functions.
• Operates equipment and performs tasks that support operations of the various areas.
• Works with material and equipment to handle, transport and process product and materials (i.e. overhead cranes, fork trucks).
• Operates various types of equipment associated with producing materials.
• Performs daily housekeeping in specified area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand work instructions, perform basic computer skills, and perform math calculations.
• Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience working with metal processing is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk, climb, lift, push, and pull
• The work is performed in a heavy industrial environment with high levels of noise, dust, heat and in cold conditions
