Hartford manufacturing company looking for CNC Machinist!

Key duties and responsibilities may include:

• Operation of manual or CNC machines including vertical lathe or v-turning. 
• Read blueprints or technical instructions.
• Machinery is older so some repair may be involved as well.
• Will report as required to the QC manager for compliance with drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Machine Shop environment operating CNC or Manual Mills and/or Lathes required. 
• Able to read technical specifications and blueprints.
• Will be required to get an ATF explosives possessor card to allow for assembly of charges in the machine shop.
• Computer skills in Word and Excel are also important so information can be transmitted from the field.
• Ability to read G&M Codes.

Job Specifications:

• Pay Range: $25+/hour DOE
• Shift(s): 1st shift
• Hours: Working 12-hour days, 6 days a week. 5 or 6am start.
