Salary: $16.00/hr

Express Employment Professionals of Howell/Brighton MI is searching for a detail-oriented team player to fill an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position within a family owned company located in Brighton.

Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm / Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr

Essential Job Functions:

  • Basic accounting functions- entering bills, creating invoices, matching/placing POs in QuickBooks
  • Receiving and entering purchase orders into QuickBooks
  • Data entry and report generation - entering and maintaining data reports on excel spreadsheets
  • Creating shipping documents and pick tickets for shipping tooling and small parts
  • Greeting and assisting visitors upon arrival
  • Answer telephone, screen, and rerouting calls to the appropriate party
  • Data entry and logging of calls or other information in CRM system
  • Other general office responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Preferably at least 1 year of office experience in clerical, data entry, receptionist, or related role
  • QuickBooks experience NOT required, training will be available
  • Strong Computer & Microsoft Office Skills (Excel skills are very important)
  • Must be Detail Oriented
  • Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
