Salary: $110K - 115K


  • Experience in evaluating and recommending facility optimization/rationalization plan to support current and future growth production requirements.
  • Understand and develop a close working relationship with key business partners.
  • Experienced in creating and implementing lean manufacturing strategies to improve manufacturing performance and flexibility.
  • Monitor and evaluate the talent pool within the manufacturing operation to ensure that world class leaders are being developed. Work closely with Human Resources in identifying and implementing programs and activities that drive the development and retention of a great manufacturing team.
  • Work in calibration with Finance to develop and manage the Operations operating budget.
    Interfaces with customers on an as-needed basis and participates in customer program reviews as required.
  • Promotes and enhances the safety, morale and recognition of personnel in the operating departments.
  • Develops and maintains operational performance metrics that directly impact the organizational goals and objectives.
  • Experience with continuous improvement activities, Kaizen, KPI’s, visual management, etc.
  • Models a leadership style that is compatible with company culture and results in the effective management of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering quality products to customer commitments on time and on cost.
  • Familiar with and recommends (as appropriate), the development of new and emerging manufacturing processes.
  • Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including capacity planning, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
  • Provide input for capital equipment and the justification to support capital requirements.
  • Experience in utilizing MRP/ERP as an operational tool.
  • Works closely with the Program Managers and Finance in developing pricing on new products/programs.


  • Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or other applicable studies; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Desired 7+ years management experience with manufacturing organization with a successful track record of developing a “lean” culture with tangible results to the business.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinker who can work through complex business issues and make decisions quickly
  • A strong communicator capable of building consensus and teams.
  • Well-rounded background, with a distinct manufacturing orientation.
  • Limited travel may be required.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Skills.
  • CNC machining and CAM skills required
