Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring 2nd Shift Machine Operators for a local manufacturer of cardboard products. The Machine Operator will be responsible for working with production machines for a variety of cardboard products.

 

Essential Job Function:

• Work in a production environment producing quality packaging
• Learn the machines and processes
• Operate the machines while following all safety procedures
• Read and understand blueprints and other company paperwork
• Troubleshoot machine problems when necessary
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality 
• Use hand tools and manual dexterity
• Use computer software to enter data for order specifications and box dimensions
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Cross-train on other machines as needed
•  

Pay: $17.00/HR DOE

 

Schedule: 4:30pm – 6:00am Monday – Friday; Occasional mandatory OT on Saturday

                  

Requirements:

• Must complete New Hire Screening process
• Must be able to work in a hot, non-climate controlled environment
• Must be able to stand, bend, and move for long periods of time
• Able to read a tape measure and blue prints
• Able to work in a safe and efficient manner
