Production Worker-$16-18/hr DOE

Salary: $19/hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals is working with a manufacturing company in Delano that is looking for Production Workers on 1st shift. This company is a customer-focused manufacturer of custom architectural metal products, equipment screens, decorative grilles, sunshades and column covers. Qualifications include:
• Read a tape measure
• Read shop drawings to determine screen sizes, blank-off sizes, crate sizes, louver section sizes and sunshade section sizes
• Read section details on shop drawings to determine locations for notches in louver mullions, which items get screens, blank-off, sill flashing or other accessories
• Read shop drawings to determine correct hardware and miscellaneous items to pull for a job and label and package items accordingly
• Assemble mechanically fastened louvers and basic single section sunshades per shop drawings
• Cut screens and blank-off panel frames using double miter saw
• Apply screens, blank-off and other accessories to louver sections per shop drawings and standard work instructions
• Label product with correct item mark numbers per shop drawings
• Cut boards for crating materials using radial arm saw
• Assemble crates and pallets
• Package finished product in crates and on pallets so as to be adequately protected during shipment per standard work instructions
• Use Visual barcode scanner system to accurately input direct and indirect labor throughout the work day
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
