Set-Up Turret Press Operator

Job Summary:

To ship orders based on customer requirements, verify order content, and complete all required documentation.

 

Key Functions:

• • Retrieves router from Production Control and determine material needs and tools required.
  • Sets up machinery per the specifications according to production schedule.
  • Runs first part for production and assure proper dimensions.  Submits first article to Quality for ISIR approval. 
  • Complete proper documentation for set up (i.e. Quality Verification Sheet, Set Up Record).
  • Completes Deviation Requests as necessary.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines.
  • Operates machinery according to production schedule.
  • Inspects parts for proper dimensions utilizing ISIR approved sample.
  • Scans jobs and quantities produced into JDE.

 

 

Qualifications:

• • Broad knowledge of metal fabrication type machinery (i.e. press brake, turret, punch press, etc.), with experience in related environment,
  • Ability to operate a forklift.  Previous certification preferred.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.

Pay Rate: 

• $23/hr.
