Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting an experienced CAD Drafter/ Job Estimator for a reputable fabrication company in Shinnston, WV. This role would be a contract to hire position with benefits such as health insurance for employee and family, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance and paid time off. Starting pay for this role is up to $25.00 hourly!

 

 

 

Job Expectations:

• Candidates will work directly with management and team members by preparing quotes and bids by analyzing requests, technical drawings, bill of materials, and all other specifications.
• Will communicate with customers, suppliers, and direct team members to deliver accurate drawings, quotes, and job estimations.
• Will provide accurate specs, blue-prints, drawings, and cut list by hand drawing and using drafting software such as AutoCad, Fabtrol, Peddimat, FastCam, and Nesting Software.

 

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a minimum of a Technical or Associates degree in Auto Cad or similar field.
• Candidates with 1 or more years of experience in drafting, estimation, job costing, will be considered in lieu of education.
• Candidates should have proficient knowledge in computer aided drawing software; AutoCad, Fabtrol, Preddimat, FastCam, or Nesting Software.
• Candidates must be able to create drawings by using computer software and hand drawing.
• Must be familiar with construction materials, steel products, and similar materials for job costing.
