Crew Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Crew Worker to support energy efficiency improvements and residential upgrade projects. This entry-level position provides hands-on training while assisting with insulation, air sealing, and other home improvement projects.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, has basic construction knowledge, and is comfortable working in a variety of environments. This role offers the opportunity to learn new skills and grow within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Construction Support

• Assist with residential energy efficiency improvement projects.
• Install insulation materials and assist with air sealing measures.
• Support improvements to homes and other residential structures.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist with basic carpentry and construction-related activities.
• Learn and apply proper installation techniques and safety procedures.

Field Work & Project Support

• Perform work in crawl spaces, confined areas, and other construction-related environments.
• Safely climb ladders and access work areas as needed.
• Assist with material handling, preparation, and cleanup.
• Follow project instructions and maintain quality standards.
• Travel to various job locations within the service area.

Safety & Teamwork

• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Work collaboratively to complete projects efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• General construction, maintenance, or hands-on experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various weather and job site conditions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with insulation installation, air sealing, or home improvement projects.
• General carpentry experience.
• Experience with doors, windows, or residential repairs.
• Knowledge of basic construction practices and materials.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to crawl, bend, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in residential and construction-related environments.

Schedule

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week
