Salary: up to $19 hourly

An established bank serving North Central WV is opening new branches in Morgantown and Fairmont, and seeking Customer Service Representatives/Tellers to join their team. These positions are going to be a great DIRECT HIRE opportunity! CSR/Tellers will ensure all customers receive prompt and courteous service and that products/services offered meet the needs of the bank''s customer base.

 

This role will offer a full time, day shift schedule and compensation of up to $19 hourly, based on experience.

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:

 

  • Promote, explain and sell all Consumer and Commercial banking products offered.
  • Process customer teller transactions (check cashing, deposits, loan payments, account withdrawals, transfers, etc.)
  • Answer telephones in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Daily balancing of teller drawers.
  • Issue debit cards/ATM cards and assist customers with card challenges.
  • Perform limited lending functions including assisting in collection of past due accounts and processing of applications.
  • Maintains a thorough product knowledge of all retail and commercial products (loans and deposits) in order to help the customer while selling them the products they need.
  • Assist the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior banking experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to quickly learn new computer software.
  • Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Must be a team player and able to take initiative.
  • Must have excellent customer service, and ability to interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
