Express Employment Professionals is hiring Warehouse/Forklift Operators for our Client in Oakland.

The Warehouse/Forklift operator Associate position performs a variety of routine work in loading and unloading trucks, put away, pick and restock material

Essential Functions

• Must be able to Operates forklift well (current certificate is a plus)

• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

• Experience in warehouse environments and processes
• Inspect and Load inbounded and shipping products for delivery
• Keeps management apprised of any delays or discrepancies.

• Pull all orders in a timely manner
• Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
• Report broken pallets to supervisor
• Put away and pick replenishment materials
• Stock and rearrange pallets in locations

• Computer literate with the ability to use technology
• Keeps warehouse clean, well-organized and safe.
• Able to keep up with a fast pace environment
• Other duties assigned as necessary

 

 

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
