The successful candidate for this position will work remotely, ideally out of Rochester, and service the Rochester Area. The position is full-time, direct hire position with exceptional benefits.

 

What You''ll Do

 

As a Custom Sign Sales Consultant, you will have the exciting opportunity of working in a business-to-business sales environment and connecting with clients from small entrepreneurs to large corporations. The size of projects will range from a single sign to multiple site branding rollouts.  You will develop new prospects, follow up on leads, develop relationships with established and prospective customers, and increase business through effective sales techniques.

 

Daily activities include, but are not limited to, Source new sales opportunities through lead follow-up, new business developments, in person visits, outbound cold calls and emails.  Visit customer locations for site survey and in person customer meetings, Learn and competently verse the industry of signage design, fabrication, and installation, Understand and cater to customer needs, desires, and budget, Understand and abide by city ordinances and permitting, Close sales and achieve monthly goals, Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.

 

What You Need

 

  • Must have a High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior Sales Experience is Required
  • Prior experience and/knowledge of signage, construction, or manufacturing a plus, but not required
  • Above average ambition and desire to succeed
  • Enjoy working with others, generating business by building and nurturing relationships
  • A proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets is a plus
  • Ability to be impeccably honest with a high level of customer empathy
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to absorb and communicate technical information and customer requirements
  • Understanding and ability to adhere to safety standards
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Salary $50,000 plus commissions.  Excellent benefits which include, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 3-5% company match, profit sharing, year-round work schedule.
