2^nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.

 

Type: Skilled-trades

 

Pay: $21-25.00/hour, based off experience

Job Duties:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machine centers.
• Perform general preventative maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Interacts with engineers to discuss potential design and/or machine problems.
• Position and secure workpiece in machine
• Operate fork lifts and powered pallet jacks.
• Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and verify conformance of work to specifications i.e., first part inspections. 

 Requirements:

• Requires education generally equivalent to a Machinist Technical Diploma
• 1-5 years of machinist experience recommended, but not required.
• Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and perform geometric algebraic and trigonometric calculations.
• Must perform metric conversions.
• Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings.
