What You Get to Do!

Responsible for overseeing all financial planning, income control and compliance functions for two properties, as well as the continued management of a qualified finance staff.

  • Plan, supervise and assist accounting personnel in performing daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes to properly record, classify and control financial transactions for the property.
  • Responsible for the timely preparation and interpretation of all financial audits, month-end close process and supporting schedules.
  • Report the daily operating activities to management ensuring timely and accurate communication of operating results.
  • Review all financial reports and schedules and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain the security of all financial reports and see that all appropriate records are retained for the required lengths of time.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for Operation Review Board review meetings.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with all departments, including needed property or service concerns.
  • Integrate the brand purpose into all processes, communications and guest/team member experiences.
  • Maintain awareness of, and effectively communicate to other staff, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs. Keep fellow team members/guests informed regarding the direction of the organization
  • Ensure that all fellow team members will adhere to and deliver Superior Guest services striving to exceed our internal and external guest expectations

What You Will Need:

  • A minimum five years of Controller or CFO level experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in accounting and/or finance.
  • Previous hospitality and/or casino industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Suite
  • This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check which may include fingerprinting.
