Express Employment Professionals is seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Consultant(internal Position) to join our team in an expanding territory in North & South Charlotte, NC!

 

The qualified candidate must have the ability to qualify prospects, build rapport with clients, and reach specific revenue benchmarks.

Job Summary:


Identify potential business opportunities in the local community and contact key decision makers, through sales calls, by phone and in-person. Successful people in this role are comfortable contacting and engaging with business people at all levels, selling intangible, critical business services. Have the ability to use consultative selling techniques and the discipline of being persistent while following a daily and weekly plan. Maintain a high level of sales activity to secure new accounts. Create daily sales plans identifying companies and offices to visit. Research companies and their respective decision makers to introduce and sell Express’s services to the right companies. Maximize territory performance by developing quarterly sales plans which identify potential new clients and business opportunities. Build strong relationships with clients to identify business needs in an effort to develop unique selling opportunities for Express’s full range of service capabilities. Analyze individual accounts to determine potential business and participate in efforts to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. Advise appropriate internal staff members about client opportunities and develop account-specific marketing plans.

Experience/Education Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field with at least 1 years demonstrated success in outside sales.
• Previous experience with business to business sales where compensation structure was heavily commission driven is strongly preferred.

Knowledge/Skill Sets:


• Demonstrated ability to identify and reach decision-makers through cold calls, research, and networking.
• Passion, drive, and enthusiasm for driving sales growth and delivering strong customer service.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with clients and recruiters.
• Computer skills and ability to compose routine correspondence and reports.
• Ability to maintain current account information records, prepare necessary reports and provide feedback on a timely basis.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws preferred.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle*, climb stairs, and carry necessary marketing materials.*Must maintain a valid state driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits


Compensation for this position includes a base salary with uncapped commission/incentive opportunities. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement plan, paid holidays and vacation.
