We are recruiting for a local flooring company in Baton Rouge for a Buyer/Product Administrator.  Great Long Term Opportunity, Full Time, Monday-Friday Schedule 8am-5pm. 

Duties and Responsibilities:


► Enter and Maintain product purchases and delivery dates in the Accu-tech system

► Issue ceramic tile POs, customer acknowledgements, and price confirmations

► Oversee inventory stock control and recommend periodic updates.

► Communicate unanticipated stock outages and backorders to customer service & sales

► Identify slow moving or obsolete inventory items for disposition

► Negotiate inbound freight contracts; schedule and oversee inbound shipments

► Acquire freight quotes for direct shipments to customers


► Post incoming shipments to local inventory  

► Fill dealer backorder tickets and reprint for delivery

► Match inventory receipts with vendor invoices & resolve discrepancies

► Obtain freight quotes and bill direct ships with tracking information

► Maintains warehouse bin assignments and product placement


► Supply necessary information to support claims coordinator & ensure timely filing



► Perform Customer Service Rep. duties on a part time/fill in basis

► Transfer in/out of CSR call queue as needed at peak hours or for vacation relief

► Assist outside sales representatives with product information and sampling
