Salary: $18.50 or DOE


The Apprentice /Journeyman Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing

plumbing systems and fixtures. Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety,

functionality, and Colorado and Local code compliance. The Apprentice /Journeyman

Plumber reports to the Master Plumber, MEP Lead and Production Manager.


Essential Functions

  • Foster and maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Establish compliance with Health & Safety regulations, the Company teammate

        Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards

  • Reads blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing
  • Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing

       infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)

  • Installing and maintaining water supply systems
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts,

       cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.

  • Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to

       detect and locate leaks.

  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves using hand and power tools
  • Contribute and communicate with Master Plumber and MEP Team Lead to improve

      processes, efficiencies, and flow of work operations and developing a cohesive team

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Position Requirements

  • 1+ years of Plumbing installation and Construction experience
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters,

       plungers etc.)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces


Participates in Apprenticeship Program by:

  • Complete On-The-Job-Training (OJT) as required by Standards of Apprenticeship
  • Able to take and follow precise orders form supervisors
  • Able to listen very carefully and communicate effectively
  • Safe and proper use of hand and power tools
  • Basic math skills and use of tape measure/level
  • Demonstrate willingness to work and learn in a team environment
  • Responsible for tracking of all applicable hours and acquiring Master Plumbers



Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a

teammate to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the teammate is regularly required to stand, walk, talk,

bend and hear. The teammate will require the physical ability to climb permanent and

temporary stairs, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. The

teammate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
