The Electro-Mechanical Technician maintains, diagnoses, repairs, replaces, modifies, and installs plant electrical, mechanical, electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and related controls for all plant manufacturing and support equipment.


Position responsibilities as follows:

  • Safely and efficiently troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment including but not limited to logical diagnosis of problems, identification of defective components, the disassembly of equipment, replacement of defective components and the reassembly and start-up of machinery and equipment. Forklift certification.
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, drive and conveyor systems, electrical systems and production machines. Utilizes diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Identify and order parts and materials using OEM drawings or internet information as needed.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas in a variety of media, tactful, confident, at all levels, internal and external.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Education or Equivalent (any of these may apply):

  • High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:
