Machine Operator - Direct Hire - $17/hr

Salary: $17.00-$17.35/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking Machine Operators for the Milwaukee area! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with different companies in Milwaukee who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

1st and 2nd shift available

**** This is a Direct Hire ****

In this Role you Will:

• Read and understand daily production schedule and material requirements
• Transport needed packaging materials to production area
• Perform efficient changeovers as required per production schedule
• Troubleshoot minor packaging problems and make appropriate adjustments on equipment
• Perform periodic quality control checks to ensure product is being packaged
• Set-up and operate packaging equipment with correct materials and product based on order specifications
• When changing product variety, must follow pre-set guidelines and change out filtering screens based on product variety/size
• Accurately complete and maintain required documentation on product, materials/supplies, output and machine downtime

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Must be able to meet daily production requirements
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel
• Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties
• Effectively communicate questions, problems and reports to co-workers, supervisory and management
