Seeking electro-mechanical assemblers to build custom components and units. If you have experience working with a variety of hand tools, can read drawings/blueprints/schematics, have soldering experience and enjoy working on builds from start to finish


Description
Reporting to the production manager with direction from the production lead, the technician will be expected assemble a variety of equipment with supervision. Candidate will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the production workspace. Training is available where needed. Technicians are not working with electricity in the assembly process. Excellent position to develop a technical career.

Entry Level:
Duties:
Ability to learn component installation instruction.
Work with supervision.
Communicate effectively.
Detail oriented.
Must be able to follow written instructions.
Demonstrated proficiency in English including reading and verbal communication.
Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 2.5 hours at a time.

Requirements include:
Ability to read English.
Desire to learn mechanical diagrams and written instructions.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to learn the use of hand tools
Good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

Experienced (1-2 years related experience)


Major tasks include:
Understand and configure component installations through utilizing BOM, drawings and schematics.
Perform wiring of assemblies with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively issues with documents.
Perform in-process inspections.
Follow safety and other general housekeeping procedures
Must be able to read and follow written instructions, schematics and diagrams.
Basic use of computer.
Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 2.5 hours at a time.
Locate and verify information in the MRP system.

Requirements include:
1-2 years of related experience
Ability to read and work from both mechanical and wiring diagrams and written instructions
Ability to learn troubleshooting skills needed in electrical diagrams.
Ability to understand and configure component per instructions, drawing and schematics.
Good manual dexterity
Ability to perform rework of both mechanical and electrical assemblies
Familiarity with the use of various electrical tools such as meters, crimping tools, and mechanical hand tools
Good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 pounds
