Express Employment Professionals is looking to add Line Cooks to our Port St. Lucie, Palm City and Stuart teams!

 

Responsibilities:

Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations, Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks, Plating prepared foods, Expo when needed. Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time. Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts. Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

 

Requirements:

Basic written and verbal communication skills, Food expo knowledge, Organizational skills, Accuracy and speed in executing tasks, Ability to work as a team member, Follows directions and instructions

High school diploma or GED, One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook, Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred, Experience with various cooking methods and procedures, Familiar with industry best practices
