Position: Process Operator – DAY Shift / WEEKEND Shift

Job details: The Process Operator is responsible for the maintenance and operation of equipment and processes in our Woodinville facility. Operators must follow safe work practices including wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), following detailed procedures and instructions, accurately recording of process conditions and some laboratory testing. This entry level position offers opportunities for learning and advancement towards production leadership roles.

- Follow all procedures, programs, and policies. Maintain equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
- Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of manufactured or packaged products and intermediates.

Isolating systems for maintenance using work permits and lock out tag out process.

Operating manual and pneumatic valves. Operating systems using Distributed Control System.

Act accordingly to all system and plant alarms and follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Remove finished product from machine and separate rejected items.
- Make periodic checks of process equipment settings and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned. Report malfunctions to supervisor.
- Assist in the design and implementation of production techniques and equipment scale-up.
Record and inspect processes to assure effective quality control.
- Support continuous quality initiatives and train other employees in proper production techniques, safety and equipment operation as needed.
- Perform other work as assigned.

 

Pay:  $20 per hour

 

NIGHT Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00PM – 6:00AM
WEEKEND Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00PM – 6:00AM (Work 36 and get paid for 40!)

 

Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Strong analytical and math proficiency. High level of mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to systematically troubleshoot and problem solve integrated processes.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of two hours without assistance and lift 25lbs.
- Ability to wear a respirator for 30-60 minute periods.
- Participate in medical surveillance per our Industrial Hygiene program.
- Pass a pre employment drug screen
- Ability to work any shift (24/7), both 8 and 12 hour shift lengths.
