Office Manager


Located in Fife, WA

Salary: $18-$20/hr (DOE)

Our client is a unique organization: they are owned by a Fortune 500 company, but each branch is run like a small business. This means each branch has the backing of a large company, but the benefit of being a locally owned and operated business. They are searching for an Office Manager who is able to work in conjunction with their field sales representative(s) and Branch Manager to continually grow and develop territory. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist walk-in customers from customer service perspective
  • Supplies product data and/or specifications, samples, and sales literature to customers and potential customers
  • Maintain up to date customer files/ misc. vendor files/ product vendor files
  • Answer and direct inbound phone calls as needed
  • Effectively interface with other departments such as Warehouse, Product Management, Credit etc. to insure timely information flow
  • Provide customer service/sales support/order entry as required
  • Enters customer orders in the computer and follows through until shipment has been made
  • Answers customers requests for price and delivery estimation within specified customer deadlines and answers all customer sales related requests
  • Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures
  • Comply with L&P audit procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we look for in an Office Manager:

  • 2-3 years of experience as an office clerk, administrative assistant, or similar role
  • Strong computer skills
  • Able to operate office equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Must be familiar and comply with company policies and enforce policies to all employees reporting to them
  • Commitment to Management System and Continuous Improvement process.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7 am to 4 pm.
