BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (Construction Industry) Owatonna/Mankato, MN. Market.  This position is responsible for revenue production via servicing new and existing accounts focused on design/build commercial construction projects in the dealership, financial, food production, manufacturing, medical, office, retail, churches, education, utility, and government sectors.  Key Responsibilities: Sales, Competitive intelligence, Direct and monitor the progress on all sold jobs, and Customer Relations. Qualifications: Desired education and experience; Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business/marketing or construction field. Prefer 5 years of related experience. Preference given to individuals with a background in the construction industry. Skills required; Strong communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and phone communications.  Computer and relevant software skills and ability to use other office equipment on a frequent and regular basis, Desktop computer, iPad, iPhone, multi-line phone system, fax machine.  Ability to perform basic math and finance work for the purposes of assisting with bids and invoicing.  Works in a well-lit and ventilated office environment.  Frequently visits prospects and customers offices and job sites.
