Cable Installation Technician

Located in Lincoln, NE

Salary: Up to $18

Cable Installation Technician:

Express Employment is seeking a Cable Installation Technician to join a local company in Lincoln, NE. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is willing to learn new things in a hands-on learning environment. In this position, you will professionally pull, terminate, and install low-voltage cabling. You will also learn about installation, programming, and maintenance of VoIP phone systems, video surveillance, paging/intercom, and telecom and data carrier services.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Installation, programming, and maintenance of VoIP phone systems, video surveillance, paging/intercom, and telecom and data carrier services

·         Troubleshoot issues and resolve in a timely manner

·         Work in a team setting to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets

·         Other duties as assigned

 

Experience/Education/Skills:

• Prior experience with fiber optics, cable installation, or construction required
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• Consistent work history
• Excellent organizational skills
• Professional customer service and communication skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, BICSI Installer, etc.) preferred but not required

Schedule/Pay:

• 1st shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm OR 8:00am - 5:00pm depending on the crew you're assigned to.
• Pay up to $18/hr depending on experience.
• Employees paid weekly!
