Machine Operator/Assembly

Salary: $14-15/hour
Job Summary/Company Information:
- Johnson County machine shop looking for Machine Operators to join their team!
- This is a small shop and individual must be willing to work and help in all aspects of machining and shop work!
- Small family owned company that offers great work schedule and flexibility.
- Machine Operators will be working on secondary machines doing drilling & tapping work. Some basic assembly, quality checks and cleaning parts.
- Great opportunities to learn and grow for candidates looking to excel in machining field.
Pay/Benefits:
- $14-15/hour with potential to earn more upon hire.
Schedule:
1st shift: Mon – Thurs, 6am - 4:30pm, will work OT on Fridays 6am - noon.
2nd shift: Mon - Thurs 2:45pm - 12:45am, will work OT on Fridays 2pm-10pm.
Requirements:
- Previous basic machine operation experience is desired or candidates that are mechanically inclined. (Hobbyist Mechanics)
- Ideal candidates will know how to read micrometers and/or calipers
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in hot environment with strong smell of lubricants.
