Extrusion Machine Operator Responsibilities:

 

  • Adjust, calibrate and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature and general operation
  • Choose and install cutters, molds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency
  • Examine visually inspect and measure components created from equipment per specification to quality standards to ensure machines are producing according to company and industry regulations and standards, adjusting as needed
  • Load and run orders per the production schedule
  • Make repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components
  • Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace
  • Choose and install cutters, molds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency.

 

Extrusion Machine Operator Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years’ experience in a manufacturing role
  • Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
  • Must be comfortable to lift up-to 50 LBS
  • Ability to read measurements
  • Committed to quality, safety and communication
  • Team-oriented and self-directed
  • Public transportation accessible

 

   

Extrusion Machine Operator Details:

  • Wages $18/PH+ (depending on shift) + 4% vacation (paid weekly)
  • Day/Afternoon Rotations & Straight Night Shifts Available
  • Start ASAP
