Salary: $14.45-$17.27 DO shift


Global leader in the manufacturing and assembling of dental component’s, equipment and tools. This Company is a market leader in their industry and because of their size and stature; they have multiple departments that typically need help on varying shifts. This positon performs basic fabrication tasks within assigned area, including operation of most machining equipment under training and supervision. This candidate sets up and operates machines using set-up sheets, routing sheets and blueprints.

Job Description & Requirements:

  • Responsible for inspecting assigned work for self and others.
  • Routes parts using material handling equipment.
  • May train temps and entry level operators, make recommendations for improvement, maintain a neat and organized work station and achieve and maintain quality and productivity standards.
  • Follow safety guidelines, identify potential safety hazards and initiate corrective action when necessary, maintain acceptable dependability level and must not pose a risk to self or others.
  • Must have excellent manual dexterity, excellent vision and strong attention to detail.
  • Approximately one year of machine operation experience is required, and experience must include set-up operation and trouble-shooting of equipment in at least one (or more) of the following areas: sheet metal, turning, milling, drilling, welding, and/or soldering.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively inspect assigned work and the work of others, which may include the use of micrometers, gages or special equipment as required. Must also have the ability to interpret blueprints and set-up sheets.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and safely use parts handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with all tooling and material types used during production along with a basic knowledge and understanding of applicable ISO procedures
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate work information in English with a demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions and troubleshoot problems when necessary
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations with an understanding of decimal/fraction equivalence.

  • Prior assembly experience desired

Compensation and Work Schedule:

  • $14.45 or 15.56/hour for day shift (depending on department), $16.96/hour for swing shift and $17.27/hour for weekend shift
