Our client is looking for a TEMPORARY Saw Assistant to fill in this spring! 

The Saw Assistant will assist in the operation of various types of saws, both automatic and semi-automatic, to perform operations such as cross cutting and mitering of metal including machine set up.

Job Duties:

• Assist operator in machine start-up.
• Monitors cut process and notifies operator when problems arise.
• Monitors machine fluid level.
• Pushing large racks across plant.
• Ensures quality of parts before forwarding them to the next operation.
• Responsible for cleanliness of personal work area and general housekeeping.
• Understand and follow all safety practices and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Highschool diploma/GED.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to work in hot environment.

Schedule:

• 1st shift, Monday-Friday
• 5:00am-3:00pm
• Temporary position from 4/1/24 to 4/14/24.

Payrate:

•  $17.00 per hour
