Sales and System Manager- DIRECT HIRE POSITION

A manufacturing facility in the Lyman area is in need of a Sales and System Manager.

Job duties will include:

  • Meet U.S. sales requirements as established by management and grow the market for the Company''s product
  • Develop and manage sales strategies and programs designed to increase sales
  • Occasionally inspect and effect repairs of Company products
  • Provide technical, promotional, and sales support to District Sales Managers, direct OEM and User accounts
  • Provide training, and sales support to Regional Sales Managers and to authorize distributors within the guidelines of the Distributor Policy in order to increase sales and serviceability of Company products
  • Generate material and conduct product seminars/training sessions
  • Plan and coordinate major deadlines for development and product introduction
  • Plan product introduction and related product properties while focusing on market, customer benefits, and strategic goals
  • Provide selection and pricing assistance to Company technical personnel
  • Conduct negotiations with customer and suppliers
  • Complete required documentation completely, promptly, and accurately
  • Provide reports, market trends, and/or industry needs as required by the Company to maintain and increase business
  • Develop product strategy with integration of product related market analysis, research, and competition analysis (companies and products)
  • Obtain and maintain working knowledge of the Company''s entire product line
  • Oversee performance of application engineering and preparation of technical quotations
  • Work within and maintain company policy
  • Assure a safe work environment for all employees
  • Ensure accurate and timely record keeping, including time-keeping for employees
  • Give merit reviews to all employees under direct supervision per Company policy
  • Frequently travel on Company business to any required destination domestically as well as overseas. Frequently stay overnight for extended periods of time, obtain lodging, and occasionally conduct business in the evenings, weekends, and holidays outside of normal business hours
  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver''s license and driving record
  • Perform other tasks as requested

Additional requirements:

  • Prefer Bachelor''s Degree or minimum of five years direct supervisory experience
  • Read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions, and other technical documents
  • Knowledgeable in and use company computer programs including CAD, work processing, database, and engineering programs
  • Manage professional and hourly staff, including degreed Engineers

Normal work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Salaried position, pay negotiable, based on experience
