Fabricator / Assembler - New York Mills

Located in Utica, NY

Salary: $15.50 - $16.50

Local manufacturing company has immediate Fabricator/Assembler openings. Interested candidates must mechanically inclined, be comfortable using a tape measure and have some experience with hand tools.

Job duties include:

• Cutting, trimming and reducing copper assemblies
• Pulling stock
• Assembling copper tubes and hoses

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Ability to read/write English
• Strong attention to detail
• Good math skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of team
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs & standing for long periods of time
• Previous fabrication/carpentry experience and/or ability to read blueprints is a plus
• Reliable transportation is a MUST

 

Work Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday (voluntary overtime opportunities will be available!)

 

Pay Rate: $15.50 - $16.50/hr
