Salary: $30,000 - 35,000, DOE

$30,000-$35,000/yr., depending on experience.  Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm. Chelsea, AL

A successful, growing company is looking for a sharp marketing/sales associate to join their team. This is a dynamic position that offers a lot of variety and development opportunities, requiring you to wear several hats and perform a variety of marketing, client, and administrative related duties.

Responsibilities Summary:

  • Inside Sales
    • Provide customer support via phone calls and emails
    • Gather quotes and support outside sales team (2 reps)
  • Marketing
    • Update and add content for company website and social media pages
    • Participate in Trade Shows, organizing the following:
      • Set up of booth and materials
      • Coordinate all travel for employees and guests
      • Gather promotional items needed
    • Generate new ideas for promotional giveaways, etc.
    • Send quarterly newsletter to clients
    • Send mass emails to clients on price increase, company announcements, etc.
  • Administrative Support
    • Manage the organization and communication for employee training classes
      • Hotel reservations
      • Communications before and after class with attendees
      • Any training material attendees need
    • Order office supplies as needed; distribute mail
  • Accounts Receivable (will train)
    • Weekly collections report
    • Assist with invoicing

What We Look for in a Great Candidate:

  • People skills & attitude are the most important requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel & other MS Office 365 programs
  • Strong & accurate keyboard skills (10-key data entry), quick aptitude for learning other company-based programs
  • Professional in attire and demeanor; personable
  • Team player attitude; strong collaboration & communication skills
  • Drug-free; background check
