Experience in troubleshooting, designing, installing, and commissioning PC/PLC based control equipment relating to the Electrical/Electronic, Automation, or Control disciplines.
A successful past in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing systems containing PLCs, Servos, VFDs, and HMIs.
Numerous troubleshooting skills in complex systems involving controls systems containing multiple PLCs, Servos, VFDs, HMIs, discrete motor controls.
Ability to look at PLC programs and with knowledge of the current I/O status be able to troubleshoot systems down to component level. (proximity sensors, limit switches, feedback devices, etc.)
Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree and 1 – 4 years of experience in the Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or Controls fields of Engineering.
Project level accomplishment of design goals with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Servos, VFDs, and HMIs.
Extensive troubleshooting skills in multiple node control networks including many PLC subnets with Servos, VFDs, and HMIs.
Program complex control systems of multiple PLCs and HMIs, involving multiple communication protocols, in a distributive control network.
Public speaking, group leadership, liaise between vendors, contractors, customers, and end users.
Written and Spoken Communication between team members, customers, contractors, and others.
Participation in meetings to define or redefine scope of work, team responsibilities, and schedules of completion.

Field Service Engineer:
Accompany Field Technicians to facilities in and around the area of the TAG East Office to document and study the locations, installations, and equipment. Develop a knowledge base of failure, cause, and resolution that can be used by Technicians. Become SME (Subject Matter Expert) and resource for Field Technicians, teaching skills to assist them in self-reliance and ability to troubleshoot with little Engineering support. Suggest and make changes to programming to allow for implementation of methods needed to assist Technicians in diagnosing and repairing issues in the field.
