Inside Sales Representative

Our client is looking for someone with trucking transportation experience to sell to new and existing clients. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and solid commercial trucking and or freight sales experience. The ideal candidate knows how to communicate with customers and coworkers to produce a realistic, profitable, and enjoyable customer experience.

Daily sales functions:
• Prospecting new clients and leads, via phone and in person
• Communicating with current Customers to ensure retention and growth
• Selling freight services, including Company Truck, LTL, Brokered Truck, Final Mile, Dedicated, Parcel, etc. 
• Develop and communicate information on rates and rate changes
• Process and develop RFP’s, quotes, and price negotiations
• Account analysis
• Shipment Life Cycle communication
• Track customer information, leads, prospects, etc.

Qualifications: 
• Must have 2+ years of experience in the Trucking and/or the Freight Brokerage industry
• One or more years of inside or outside sales related experience
• Professional level verbal & written communication skills for effective and friendly interaction with customers, Team Members, and vendors 
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite
• Comfortable with shifting priorities in a time-sensitive environment
• Proven negotiation skills
• TMS experience is a plus
