Salary: $19-26/hr DOE

CNC Technician

• Full Time, Mon-Fri, 1st and 2nd shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for set up and operation of CNC machines while maintaining superior operating efficiency and quality
• Supporting production operations of CNC machines by making sure they are ready for production personnel to operate
• Changing out dull or broken cutters and tools monitoring burr conditions
• Effectively install fixtures and work pieces in CNC machines;
• Use indicators to verify set-ups
• Maintain machines, coolant and oil levels;
• Remove and replace dull/broken cutters
• Accurately measure finished work pieces using precision measuring equipment
• Read and interpret inspection results to make machine offset adjustments
• Monitor machine operation and control panel displays
• Work with others to resolve malfunctions and production errors
• Troubleshoot program, fixture and tooling problems
• Monitor machine maintenance, tool life, fixture condition to increase up time
• Maintain accurate setup and production records
• Understanding of programming is a plus

Skills/Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED preferred; at least 1 year experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents (blueprints, drawings, manuals...)
• Basic math skills (using fractions, decimals, and percent)
