Seafood Processors - Regular Performance/Attendance Based Raises After 1 Year of Employment!

We are seeking motivated individuals to join a local custom seafood processing facility. This facility is committed to delivering the highest quality seafood products to their customers while adhering to the strictest hygiene and safety standards. As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in the processing, packaging, and distribution of fresh and frozen seafood products to ensure that customers receive the finest seafood on their plates.

Type of Position: Contract to hire

Benefits: Regular performance and attendance-based raises upon being hired on with the company. Opportunity to become a line lead, sawyer or work in shipping/receiving. 1-week paid vacation after 1 year

What you get to do:
· Seafood Processing: Perform various tasks on the seafood processing line, including but not limited to, cleaning, cutting, gutting, filleting, portioning, and de-boning fish and other seafood items.
· Quality Control: Inspect seafood products at different stages of processing to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with food safety regulations.
· Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, following strict food safety and hygiene guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.
· Equipment Operation: Operate processing machinery and equipment responsibly, following operating procedures and safety protocols
· Packaging and Labeling: Assist in packaging and labeling seafood products accurately and efficiently, adhering to packaging specifications and customer requirements.
· Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, report discrepancies, and assist in stock rotation to ensure the freshness of products.
· Compliance: Adhere to all applicable food safety and health regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
· Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and achieve operational efficiency.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM 

Pay: $16.28

Physical requirements: Lifting 40lbs, able to work in a cold environment.
