Express Employment Professionals is currently interviewing for a full-time Chemical Plant Operator with a local Hot Springs company!
The pay starts out at $18-$22.00/hr
The schedule is a ROTATING SCHEDULE (12.5 hr shifts, rotating/swing 4-3-3-4 schedule, with lunches paid). 14 days off every 28 days.
Room for advancement based on successfully understanding and performing operating processes and completion of various certifications.
Chemical Plant Operator key Responsibilities include:
- Must be able to complete OSHA training, and a willingness to learn the basics of pump technology (basic process controls and instrumentation).
- Daily involvement with plant housekeeping, packaging, and sample collection.
- Loading and unloading tankers and material handling duties.
- Provide general plant support for various processes and assist with daily operational tasks,
Chemical Plant Operator Qualifications:
- Ability to use controls & instrumentation effectively
- Ability to follow directions well
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma
- Forklift and/or machine operator experience preferred
- Understanding of process flow and distillation beneficial, but not required.
