The Concrete Finisher will be responsible to ensure quality on each project, while ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client’s needs, through direction of daily operations on your projects, including responsibility for overall safety, direction, completion, and outcome of construction projects. This is an evaluation to hire position. Looking to hire immediately!


Essential Functions:

  • Assists with general concrete duties
  • Operates a screed to level freshly placed concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Smooth concrete surface using either a hand trowel, long handled “bull float” powered float and/or riding trowel machines
  • Cut joints/grooves in concrete with edging tools to help control cracking, as well as layout and saw cut joints with an early entry saw
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Monitor the wind, heat and cold as it affects the curing of concrete
  • Set and place forms to proper elevations and location, prepare the base and install proper reinforcing
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates imbeds and other fixtures into freshly poured concrete and/or pattern or stamp the surface to provide a decorative finish


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass the Fort Hood base access requirements
  • Must have good vision, stamina, good hand eye coordination and an ability to estimate size and dimensions
  • Skill in smoothing, finishing freshly placed concrete, applying surface treatments and restoring concrete surfaces
  • Required to perform tasks that include heavy lifting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and reaching
  • Must be able to work outdoors in areas that are dusty or dirty
  • Work overtime as required
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
  • Ability to read, understand and implement project plans and documents
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once and exercise independent judgment related to daily administration of projects
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing and evaluating information and proactively finding solutions for onsite items
  • Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial, disciplined and organized personality



  • 6:45am to 4:00pm, Mon-Fri
