Job Summary for Machine Operator:
A company is Marcellus is looking for candidates for all three shifts. The selected candidates will be working on machines, assembling, entering data, and following the company’s safety guidelines.
- 1st shift is Monday – Friday 7:40 am – 4:00 pm
- 2nd shift is Monday – Friday 3:40 pm – 12:00 am
- 3rd shift is Sunday – Thursday, 11:40 pm – 8:00 am
Once hired in candidates will have full-benefits, 2 weeks of vacation, and 5 days of personal time.
Responsibilities of Machine Operator:
- Operate injection molding presses as directed by the lead operator
- Inspect plastics parts, delegate, trim, or perform additional operations
- Sonic Weld, Sanding, Assembly
- Produce quality product to meet customer needs
- Per work instructions verify press setup, part info, steps to run the part, and packaging requirements
- Fill machine hoppers, dryers, and empty grinders as needed
- Attend staff meeting and training as desired
- Identify molding problems and notify the supervisor
- Perform assembly of the product as directed
- Complete daily scrap sheet and other documentation legibly and in a timely manner
- Maintain a stable mold cycle
- Practice and adhere to 6S standards
Qualifications of Machine Operator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Factory / industrial experience a plus
- Good math skills
- Good communication skills (writing skills for documentation)
- Ability to follow safety guidelines
- Ability to work individually and as a group
