Salary: $22.00/hour

 Job Summary & Essential Functions: 

Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical assemblies. 
* Diagnose problems in testing and assembly 
* Prepare electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings 
* Perform routine preventative maintenance and assist with light mechanical maintenance as needed 
* Repair or replace electrical components, equipment, hardware or software 
* Build Test Stand Control boxes 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 
* Test, analyze, adjust, repair, and operate electromechanical instruments 
* Ability to operate electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, digital volt meters, etc. 
* Ability to read and interpret wiring drawings and schematic diagrams 
* Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings 
* Ability to build electronic assemblies using basic soldering skills 
* Ability to use basic hand tools to repair machinery or perform preventative maintenance 
* Good hand to eye coordination and dexterity
* Attention to detail and organized 
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed 
* Process equipment troubleshooting and repair experience is a plus 
* Experience in running calibration and maintenance management programs are a plus 
* Experience using measuring tools including micrometer and caliper 
* Familiar with Lean and Continuous Improvement concepts 
* Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Knowledge of Software (i.e. Opto22, Hertzler, C, Visual Basic, Draftsight) 
* Knowledge of Machine Controls (Fanuc, Allen Bradley and Omron PLC) 

Required Experience: 
* Five years’ experience in electronics and/or mechanical repair 
* Two-year technical degree in Electronics or Mechatronics
