Express Professionals Seattle is growing quickly, and seeking an ambitious candidate to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative.
You will be responsible for identifying companies that are actively hiring and communicating the benefits of partnering with (the best) staffing agency in Seattle to fill those open jobs.
Outside Sales responsibilities include:
• Identify companies that have staffing/hiring needs• Complete 100 sales calls weekly, combining phone and in-person calls to connect with a wide variety of companies• Meet with decision makers to assess hiring needs and offer solutions to close new business• Consult with businesses on value of partnership with Express• Document all sales activity daily• Act as the brand ambassador of Express Employment Professionals throughout Seattle
Collaboration with Inside Team includes:
• Communicate with internal team to ensure sales and recruiting are in sync• Motivate internal team to fill new job orders with urgency• Demonstrate enthusiasm and excitement about new agreements that you close• Provide updates on sales activity and set expectations for internal team to assist in closing new clients
You are qualified for the Outside Sales position if you have the following:
• 2-4 years sales experience, or degree in relevant field• Excellent communication and relationship building skills• Confidence initiating conversation• Great listener and ability to ask relevant follow up questions• Ability to think and problem-solve on your feet• Detail-oriented and organized• Upbeat attitude• Desire to work in a mission-based company that adds value to local businesses• Passion for helping others• Self-initiative to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
You will be successful in this position if you are able to initiate a high volume of sales activity, have no fear of going floor to floor through high-rise buildings in Downtown Seattle, can build rapport with a variety of individuals to develop a “cold lead” into a “warm prospect”, and have the commitment to follow up until the deal is closed!
