Material Handler

Located in Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $20/HR

Job Summary:

·       Tag and identify cylinders according to established procedures, paying close attention to cylinder information and labeling accuracy.

·       Scan cylinder barcodes using a company-issued cell phone and enter the appropriate gas type and quantity into the system.

·       Physically move cylinders throughout the work area, using proper handling and safety procedures.

·       Operate a sit-down forklift to move and position cylinders and materials as needed.

·       Work primarily outdoors and on your feet while maintaining accuracy and productivity throughout the shift.

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Position Type: Open-ended project with potential temp-to-hire opportunity based on performance

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00A-4:30P

Pay: $20/HR  

Qualifications: 

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify and tag cylinders.
• Comfortable using a company-issued cell phone to scan barcodes and enter information.
• Comfortable working outside and on your feet for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to safely physically move and handle cylinders.
