Office Assistant

Salary: $14-16/hr. DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly reliable, professional Office Assistant for a client located in Fairfield, NJ. 

We need an Office Assistant who will support a diverse range of administrative needs. Your role works independently, with limited or no supervision, directly reporting to the Sales Manager. You'll take the lead on filing, handling, and distributing mail, as well as other office-related tasks, including data-entry and typing. This position calls for a highly organized and customer-service minded individual, working internally with management, and other office staff.

What we look for in Office Assistants:

  • Two or more years of experience in an office setting
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Type 30+ words per minute
  • Self-motivated with efficient problem solving skills

The position's main responsibilities:

  • Data entry/Order entry
  • Processing orders via telephone
  • Customer Service
  • Answering phones
  • Tracking shipping


  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have experience with MS Office
  • UPS/FEDEX knowledge is a plus
  • Must be reliable and have OWN transportation

$15-18/hr. DOE

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm
