Position: Bookkeeper / Accountant

Location: Flathead Valley
Status: Full‑Time

What You’ll Do

  • Record daily financial transactions and complete posting processes
  • Reconcile sales tax, payroll tax, 401(k) contributions, and bank accounts monthly
  • Monitor and review financial transactions and reports
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Handle check processing and maintain accurate general ledger entries
  • Collaborate with an accountant as needed
  • Manage monthly payroll using accounting software
  • Prepare, review, and interpret financial statements

What You Bring

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles
  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a business‑services environment
  • Proficiency with bookkeeping software (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time‑management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to interruptions and shifting priorities
