Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Skilled Cook for a local hospital. The cook is responsible for following instructions relating to the timely preparation of food orders, organizing workstations, and assisting other cooks as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Preparing ingredients for menu items
• Preparing high-quality meals according to company recipes
• Ensuring that food portions and presentation meet company standards
• Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas
• Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner
• Efficiently resolving problems with customers’ orders
• Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed

Pay: $15.00/HR

Schedule: Fluctuating schedule. Will work shifts every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Proven experience working as a Cook
• The ability to follow recipes
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Effective communication skills
