Electronics Scale Technician - Trainee

Salary: $18.00-$20.00/hr or more DOE

Job Summary:  The core duties of this position are to perform technical services, including installation and maintenance/repair on industrial scales and weighing systems. You’ll serve a wide range of customers from medical to industrial sites.

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

• Greet customers with a smile and friendly attitude
• Set up, install, and repair industrial and medical/commercial weighing equipment in the shop and at customer sites
• Travel up to 3 days per week is required via company vehicle (hotel and per diem provided)
• Participate in the on-call rotation for service technicians
• Work overtime if necessary

Schedule & Pay:

• FULL TIME; Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm (some weekends and OT required depending on the job)
• $18.00-$20.00/hr. or more depending on experience

Here's What Makes YOU a Great Fit:

• Must have low voltage electronic instrument experience
• Mechanical aptitude; understanding of mechanical movement concepts
• Able to physically do the work (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)
• Able to work outdoors in cold/hot temperatures
• Good computer skills; will use MS Office Suite
• Read and understand electronic schematic diagrams
• Read and follow equipment technical manual procedures
• Military electronics training and/or PLC programming a plus but not required
• Valid Drivers License and good driving record
• Good work ethic; punctual & dependable; take pride in your work
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Technical or electronics degree a plus but not required
• Drug-free; background check
