Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an Experienced Administrative Assistant with Logistics experience for a full time postion in Yuba City! Job Summary: *Performs high-level administrative support and functions primarily relating to production and logistics; *contributes to the accomplishment of quality practices and objectives; *helps implement services, policies, and programs that emphasize productivity, quality, and goal attainment. Responsibilities may be carried out in some or all of the following areas: departmental development, human resources, quality assurance, training and development, organization development, and executive administration. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *Establish and maintain cooperative partnerships with internal and external personnel at all levels via phone, email and PTP. *Coordinates in and outbound logistics details with customers, freight forwarders and trucking companies * Accurately completes export/quality/shipping documentation in compliance with local, federal and international regulations * Follows through on all new and ongoing matters * Provides clerical assistance to support team members as needed, for effective and efficient business operations * Prepares and maintains reports and files that are necessary to carry out the functions of the company * Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as necessary. * Serves as back-up person for Executive Assistant during vacation periods, and relieves Receptionist during meal and break times * Other work-related duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS *Background in Export/Logistics IS REQUIRED * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Strong computer and web navigation skills ABILITIES REQUIRED Attention to detail Proactive and mature personality Excellent multi-tasking Team player with "can do" attitude Fast learner Pay is DOE
